Laurel, MD – October 2007 – Data Sciences, Inc., a
leading provider of newspaper circulation,
advertising,
and web
portal software, has signed an agreement to install DSI/Business
Analytics software at Calkins Media, Inc. Installation is currently
under way with go-live slated for the first quarter of 2008. Calkins
Media includes five newspapers in Pennsylvania, and one newspaper
in New Jersey.
When asked why DSI Business Analytics Software was selected, George
Stevenson, Circulation Director at the Bucks County Courier Times
said:
“We were interested in making information in our circulation
software more easily available to our circulation departments. We
operate with software written by in-house staff and the choice of
programming these changes internally or purchasing outside software
was an easy decision. After evaluating all available options, DSI/Business
Analytics offered the best solution.”
In announcing the agreement, DSI’s President Mark Ganslaw
